Joe's Theorem of Running on Hot Days

When temperature outside is greater than 95 degrees, running past a sewage treatment plant is Bad (tm).

Corollary:
It is at least important, if not more so, to remember which paths lead past sewage treatment plants, so that one does not find oneself at mile 3.5 of a 5 mile loop with the dawning realization of what a horrible mistake one has made.

I guess it could be a way to get in some speedplay.

At least the sewage treatment plant is a point source of smelliness - in Iowa, the smells of animals abounds once you leave the city limit...

I can add to your theorem...I run in the countryside in Iowa and learned to look to see where they are spreading pig poop in the fields in windy and hot days in the spring before venturing out. More than once, i have come home smelling bad and gagging
