Too hot

Here in DC, it's only 95 today, with tomorrow and Wednesday being 100, while it's going to cool off Thursday to about 98.

So I am going to spend the last week before I head out west running on the treadmill. Whee!

Man, I totally feel like Uncle Scrooge...

In good news, in the ten day forecast it says that the high in Fort Collins next Wednesday (the last day in the forecast) will be 88, which is hot, but we will be well out of FC by that time I think. In Livermore (near exchange 6) the high is 80, and in Red Feather Lakes (exchange 12) it is 76... Hopefully Teresa and Shaun will get to do their climbs in temps no higher than the mid-70s!

But of course, we all know how accurate ten day forecasts are. But I would think between two atmospheric physicists, a guy who builds supercomputers for weather related purposes, and a guy who spends his days doing computer programming for weather purposes, can't we come up with a good prediction? :-)

Prediction from evil genius who builds weather predicting supercomputers: "It will be cooler than DC, and that's alllllllllllright with me."

It's 36C in Toronto today but apparently with the heat index it's supposed to feel like, a record breaking, 46C!?! - which I work out to be 115(!?!) in your old fashioned units.

Gosh maybe running in weather 10-20 degrees cooler will make up for the elevation difference :-) (I wish)

I know surprisingly little about the weather!

And i'm treadmilling it, too.
