Dear Resident at 1032 13th Street (and all similar offenders),
Maintaining an inch thick layer of ice on your sidewalk does not count as clearing it. Since many of your neighbors have managed to get it down to clear pavement, I presume you can do the same. Next time I fall on my ass outside your house, I'm totally suing - mostly because 13th street is a major road and wiping out there is pretty embarassing.

That's some tough love.
They probably just wanted the notoriety of being publicly spanked on your blog.
I am totally with you on this one. Why is that some people think they don't have to shovel or use ice melt? Rules don't apply to them I guess. I have reported people to the city and then they will fine them - if they actually send someone from the city out there to the address.
That sucks!
Ouch! That hurts
bastards! you should at least leave them a nasty note!
Suck! Did you get up before anyone noticed? Hopefully anyone that did see will think that you are totally hardcore for running when there is ice on the ground and won't even remember you wiped out.
i think you should print this out and leave it on their door. oh - or move to somewhere warm where this is a non-issue.
YIKES!!! Thank God your ok!
man, props to you for even going outside!!
Well, d@mn. That's no fun.
(I am thinking that the nature of this winter is such that YakTrax may be required even when we think they're not!)
Ugh, how annoying!
Ouch! (You told them!)
